• NMMMA is accepting bids for the Recycling Center Construction Project in Alpena, with submissions due by December 2, 2025 — details available here.
   

• Our current pricing sheet is available here. Please note that starting January 1st, 2026 we will no longer accept cash for payment. Credit/debit card and check only. 
   

• Cleanup day is scheduled for June 6th, 2026 at Northern Lights Arena from 8am-3pm.
   

• Glass recycling is now available at Alpena Charter Township & Moose Lodge drop off locations! Check out the services and facilities tab for addresses. 
   

• The Alpena Recycling Facility can no longer receive boats and hot tubs. Please take these items to the MOA at 6751 Landfill Rd, Atlanta, MI 49709.
